Archigos records the effective political leaders of all independent states worldwide, 1875–present. Each entry captures a leader's name, country, entry and exit dates, how they entered and exited office (regular/irregular), and post-tenure fate.

It is the standard source for studying leadership turnover, political survival, and irregular power transitions.
