The Dynamics of Collective Action dataset records protest and collective-action events in the United States from 1960 to 1995, coded from daily issues of the New York Times. Each event includes the date, location, initiating groups (who), event type, claims and targets (against), and a headline-style title. This export keeps the core event columns; all events are located in the United States.
