The Penn World Table reports purchasing-power-parity converted national accounts for 185 economies from 1950 to 2023, built so that income, output, input and productivity levels are comparable both across countries and over time. Version 11.0 is the current release from the Groningen Growth and Development Centre.

Hosted here are the eight most widely used series: expenditure-side and output-side real GDP at chained PPPs (rgdpe, rgdpo), real GDP at constant national prices (rgdpna), population, employment, the human capital index, TFP at current PPPs (ctfp), and the exchange rate to the US dollar. All monetary series are in millions of 2017 US dollars.

PWT is the standard input for cross-national growth, convergence and productivity work, and underpins most comparative political-economy measures of economic size. The full 51-variable source workbook is delivered alongside this dataset.
