The retired RAND Database of Worldwide Terrorism Incidents contains 40,129 event records from 1968 through 2009. Each row is a reported terrorism incident and retains the fields used by the website: date, city, country, attributed perpetrator, weapon, and fatalities. The complete raw CSV, including narrative descriptions and injuries, remains preserved; those unused fields are omitted only from the static website payload. The data support research on the location, timing, methods, and human consequences of terrorist attacks.
