UNCTAD's International Investment Agreements (IIA) Navigator is the reference registry of the world's investment treaties. This dataset is the complete registry as retrieved on 26 August 2026: every one of the 3,991 treaties the Navigator holds, with no filter on type, status or year. One row is one treaty.

It contains 3,451 bilateral investment treaties (BITs) — 2,236 in force, 625 signed but not yet in force, 590 terminated — and 540 treaties with investment provisions (TIPs), which include free trade agreements, economic partnership agreements and regional investment protocols. Signature dates run from 1957 to 2026; the 1990s alone account for 1,626 treaties.

Each row carries the treaty's short title, its contracting parties (with ISO3 codes), treaty type, status, date of signature, date of entry into force, termination date, the UNCTAD treaty id and a link to the official treaty page, plus the languages in which UNCTAD holds the full text. Dates that the Navigator reports only to the month or the year are kept at that reduced precision rather than being padded to a specific day, and dates the Navigator leaves blank (a treaty still in negotiation, not yet in force, or not terminated) are empty rather than imputed.

The Navigator's own headline counts reconcile with this extract: UNCTAD reports 2,861 BITs, which is the 3,451 BITs here minus the 590 terminated ones. 321 treaties have at least one non-state contracting party — regional groupings such as the EU, EFTA, ASEAN, MERCOSUR or the Belgium-Luxembourg Economic Union — and those parties have no ISO3 code, so their slot in the ISO3 list is left empty.

每行含条约短标题、缔约方（附 ISO3）、条约类型、状态、签署日期、生效日期、终止日期、UNCTAD 条约编号与官方条约页链接，以及 UNCTAD 收有全文的语种。官网只给到年或月的日期按 ISO 8601 缩减精度保留，不补成具体某一天；官网留空的日期（仍在谈判、尚未生效、未终止）保持为空，不做填补。

与官网自己的统计口径可以对上：UNCTAD 公布的「BIT 合计 2,861 份」= 本表 3,451 份 BIT 减去 590 份已终止。321 份条约至少有一个非国家缔约方（欧盟、EFTA、东盟、南方共同市场、比卢经济联盟等区域集团），这类缔约方没有 ISO3，其在 ISO3 列中的对应位置留空。
